Personal growth is a process that takes place over the course of your life. As you grow and evolve, you learn to adjust in changes to yourself. Some people do not welcome change in their life but change promotes happiness, mental strength, and emotional resilience. With the help of your counselor, you will start to focus on the things in your life that can start to develop healthier habits. Together, we will set goals that are realistic, attainable, and promote a positive change in your life. It is important to know that you are in control of your life and are not stuck in any position.

The goals for personal growth are usually related to:

  • Mental Health (depression, anxiety, anger, etc.)
  • Career: in relation to a dissatisfaction related to the current status of one’s career)
  • Personal Relationships
  • Family Relationships
  • Self-Esteem/Self-Confidence
  • Education: Desire for more or for change
  • Health/Exercise/Nutrition
