“Counseling from the heart for the heart”
I earned my Masters Degree in Social Work from the University of Texas in Arlington and have been employed by several agencies and hospitals in the DFW area as a social worker and a therapist.  I provide a variety of mental health care and counseling services to assist you in achieving success and finding solutions to the obstacles that sometimes arise in life.  I offer counseling services to individuals, couples, and families.
My Philosophy
As a therapist, I am passionate about building a relationship with my clients to facilitate positive changes in their lives. Together, we will work to identify personal strengths and resources you already have to make change feel possible. My practice utilizes an integrative and holistic approach to explore problematic thought processes and behaviors that affect your relationships and life roles. Insight-oriented guidance is provided as clients develop skills to navigate through life stressors, gain new perspectives, cultivate self-awareness and personal growth, and find balance. Obstacles sometimes arise in life. My view of the therapeutic process in one of personal growth. I can guarantee a safe, comfortable, and non-judgmental environment for you to express your inner most thoughts, feelings, and burdens. I have over 15 years experience in working with individuals, couples, and families. My specializations include families in transition (divorce, blended families, etc.), relationship issues, parenting support, anger management, depression/anxiety, mood disorders, self-esteem issues, and stress management. Daytime, evening, and some weekend appointments are available. Please call me with any questions regarding the therapeutic process or to schedule an appointment.
